Windows 8: My first impressions

Windows 8 Start Screen

I installed Windows 8 Pro this morning and my first impression is “Cool!” It relies heavily on integrations between Microsoft Live, Xbox, and social media. It’s great to be able to see everything in one place, and way convenient. But if you don’t have a Microsoft or Xbox account, it limits the cool factor.
